So it has again been a while since I last updated (the norm for me), and to be frank, it's because I have been super lazy over the summer...and it was awesome. I got to see everyone I wanted to in the states during my vacation, feel motivated enough to write again and ready to handle the onslaught of bull that is never ending for a Securitas Supervisor (which began the day after I got back to Canada...seriously).

I posted up a short freestyle poem that emerged when I was actually trying to work on one of my shorts but it has been hard to focus on writing at any length. I blame my accounting courses though; accounting is an invention from hell. Journals, Ledgers, Trial Balances, Balance Sheets...BAH. I am glad nobody was in my office because nothing causes me drop the F bomb more than useless math. Especially when it feels the entire text is written in useless jargon (do accountants speak English EVER?). Quickbooks ANYONE!

Anyway, I think I will be trying to explore the darker side of writing again and see what comes to light.  Sometimes it's simply too much fun to "be the antagonist". We will see how that goes though.
